Two Softball Players made West Region All-Tournament!

La Verne Softball

The University of La Verne softball team placed two athletes on the West Region All-Tournament Team concluding action UT Tyler. Senior Jodi Lindsay and junior Melissa Carlson were named to the All-Tournament following their performances at the West Regionals as the Leopards finished among the final four participants in the seven-team field.

Lindsay batted a team-high .556 (5-9) for the Leopards along with two walks in the three games to post a .636 on-base percentage to close out her career. Carlson batted .333 for the tournament along with a .400 on-base percentage. She also was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

How old do you have to be to attend a College Softball Camp or Clinic?

Each College Softball Camp usually has camps for youth and then High School camps. Check the school of choice to see the different options available.

What should I bring to a typical softball camp?

For normal softball camps, you come like you would be going to practice or game. Softball glove, bat, hat, uniform and helmet, if you have one.

Catchers are recommended to bring softball gear, if you have it.
