The Amy Kvilhaug Fall Hitting Clinic offers players the opportunity to receive quality instruction from exceptional and experienced softball coaches. The St Johns University Coaching Staff has designed and implemented a camp format to attract softball talent to our Queens, New York campus.

St. John's softball .........
has enjoyed 30 years of rich history. The first St. John's softball team took the field in 1981 and the STJ softball family has grown stronger with each season as coaches, players and alumni carry on St. John's Vincentian mission.
Last season, St. John's head coach Amy Kvilhaug recorded her 200th career victory as a coach in a 5-2 win over Siena on March 27, 2010. Over eight seasons as a head coach (four at Radford, four at St. John's) Kvilhaug has amassed 207 wins.
Under Kvilhaug, St. John's has had six All-BIG EAST Team honorees and 39 BIG EAST All-Academic Team selections.
In 2010, STJ catcher Kacee Cox ranked as one of the top hitters in the country. Cox led the BIG EAST and ranked 39th among all NCAA Division I players with a .404 batting average. She led the team with nine home runs and 46 RBI. Cox was named to the 2010 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-Great Lakes Region Second Team and the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

Q. What should I bring to a typical softball camp?
A. For normal softball camps, you come like you would be going to practice or game. Softball glove, bat, hat, uniform and helmet, if you have one.

A. Each College Softball Camp usually has camps for youth and then High School camps. Check the school of choice to see the different options available.
